OUR MISSION

Reviving Our Communities (ROC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Baltimore's youth through health-related service domestically and abroad.

ROC aims to offer service-learning and leadership activities for teenagers interested in medicine, public health, and HIV/AIDS education. Participants in our program will commit 100-200 hours of domestic, community service during their school year, and then, spend 5-6 weeks in Africa volunteering in clinics, street shelters, and primary schools. It is our goal to provide teenagers living in Baltimore's underserved neighborhoods a unique opportunity to engage in building cross-cultural and transnational relationships with their African counterparts for the ultimate purpose of improving public health within their respective communities.
